French Elle, one of the most fashionable magazines in the world, recently did something shocking. Their June issue's cover had three fabulous actresses (Monica Bellucci, Eva Herzigova, and Sophie Marceau) photographed without any makeup on. Trying to make a statement, French Elle wanted to show the natural beauty in every woman. 
Well, the response was huge - people everywhere applauded the actresses and the magazine for doing something so different. This month they did it again. Starlet Scarlett Johansson poses on the cover with virtually no makeup on and still looking gorgeous. Personally, I think it's a wonderful trend and hope it continues. It shows that it's okay to look natural, look like yourself. If they can grace a cover of a magazine that sells millions of copies, surely we can go to the store without a bit of foundation.
